The visit of foreign partners Levski – Sports For All, Red Star and Lazio to Piraeus included a range of activities in the framework of the European project "Multisport Academy".

Firstly, they visited the basketball match “Olympiacos – ASVEL Basket” at the Peace and Friendship Stadium as part of the 25th Euroleague match-day.  Moreover, a tour was conducted inside and outside the Stadium in order to get familiar with the operations as well as the variety of sports hosted in one of the largest sports facilities in Greece. In addition, they visited the Martial Arts facilities of the club, the Members & Fans Department as well as the Monument of “Gate 7” at Karaiskakis Stadium.

The meetings were then moved to the club first headquarters in Marina Zeas, where a detailed presentation of the structure and organization chart of the club took place. The foreign partners attended the presentation with great interest, stating that the way Olympiacos works is a model example of improving the management and operation practices of their own clubs.

The first round of the visit ended with the central meeting of the project and the interaction among the participants who had the opportunity to discuss and exchange views on specific topics such as sports governance, sport event management, marketing and communication, coaching, grassroots, injury rehabilitation.
