The four-day international activity of the European project “Road to Olympics (RtO)” was successfully completed, featuring the 3rd Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) and the Training Week, as foreseen in project deliverables E1.3 and D3.2.
The event was hosted at the facilities of the Peace and Friendship Stadium (SEF) by Olympiacos CFP, one of the project’s key partners.
3rd Transnational Project Meeting (TPM)
The TPM brought together project partners to:
· Evaluate the project’s current progress
· Review completed deliverables
· Plan the upcoming implementation phases
In parallel, the partners attended the first day of the Training Week, gaining first-hand insights into the application of the RtO methodology and collecting qualitative feedback from the field.
Training Week in Greece
The Training Week was the core component of the event, involving young athletes from Greece and Ukraine, and focused on enhancing both cognitive and physical performance through innovative technological and scientific methods.
Key Activities:
· Implementation of the training methodology using the NeuroTracker system and dual-task protocols
· On-site support by expert trainers from the International Center
· Technical support provided by Kinetic Analysis
Training Objectives:
· Pilot implementation of the cognitive training methodology
· Evaluation of digital tools and equipment in real-world training conditions
· Collection of data and practical feedback for further development and optimization of the approach
This initiative marked a milestone in the Road to Olympics (RtO) project, reaffirming the value of transnational cooperation, innovation in sports education, and the integration of technology into cognitive training for athletes.
