Olympiacos replied with the points by Stamati and Thomas and tied the game (35-35). The Russian team scored four consecutive points and preceded with 35-39 in the first half. 

Olympiacos was amazing in the third quarter and led with 8 points (49-41). Dynamo Kursk reduced to 51-49 but Sotiriou did a three-point shot to boost the margin to +5 (54-49). The last quarter started with the score at 54-51 but the Russian team overturned the game and led with eight points (54-62). The ‘’Reds’’ closed the difference to four points (67-71) but didn’t avoid the defeat. The most positive issue is that it had a very good and competitive performance against one of the Euroleague favourites.
