Legendary moments!

 

 Olympiacos dominated Ortec Nesselande with 3-0 and won the Top Teams Cup, the second European trophy of men’s volleyball. The extraordinary European route of Olympiacos finished with the organization and the winning of the Final-4. In this phase, the ‘’Reds’’ won Liberec with 3-0 easily in the semifinal and with the Olympiacos supporters creating a fantastic atmosphere. 

Ortec Nesselande was competitive in the first set but Olympiacos got it with 25-23. In the second set, the ‘’Reds’’ kept their rhythm and won with 25-18 and in the third one, they overturned the Dutch lead to take the victory and celebrate the trophy. Milinkovic was the MVP of the tournament receiving 22 votes. 

The route to the top

The performance of Claudio Cuello’s team was also impressive in the group stage. The ‘’Reds’’ participated in the first group against Fenerbache, Topolsica and Nafels. They secured the first position easily having lost just a set in the away game against Fenerbache.
