Olympiacos was defeated with 77-66 against Valencia in the second leg of the Eurocup. The “Reds’’ were back since the first quarter and Valencia led with 12 points in the first half. The team tried to reduce in the last quarter but couldn’t avoid the defeat. Gemelos was the top scorer with 20 points and Thomas added 16.

Giorgos Pantelakis stated: "It was a crucial game for our final ranking in the group. The first quarter was too bad but we didn’t show the passion we had to do in a derby like this. We weren’t very strong defensively and offensively. Valencia is a great team with good roster. We have another game in the first round of the Eurocup group stage and hope that we will have a better result against Valencia at home’’. 

Gemelos mentioned: "We were very bad. We didn't play well on defense and couldn’t follow our plan. We made lots of mistakes and lost lots of rebounds against Valencia. Overall, we had a bad performance in the first half. I think that we need much work defensively and try to fix this part of our tactics’’.
