Pavlidis: "We were very nervous at the beginning and our attempts were not so good. However, our defense was excellent and Diamantopoulou was amazing. I was expecting an outburst with one or two goals which could make our work easier. We are expecting a better performance tomorrow in man-ups and a similar defense. We have a similar defensive performance, I am sure we will win against any opponent.’’

The captain, Filio Manolioudaki, said: ‘’We did the first step against a very good team and now, we have to concentrate on the next opponent. We will do our best as we did today. We were bad in man-ups but we found solutions and showed the quality of our team. I would like to do some comments for our fans. They are used to following us everywhere. They are our family. I also congratulate the women’s volleyball team and hope that we will do something similar tomorrow.’’

Emmolo underpinned: ‘’We are very happy.  Our goal was the qualification and we did it. Now, we are focusing on the tomorrow final. We expect to know our opponent. We believe on ourselves and we will be passionate. The fans follow us everywhere and are an extra player.’’
